During the warlords era in the early Republic of China, a village located in rural area called Pucheng falls into dangerous situation when the new ruling warlord Cao Ying (by Louis KOO) tries to take over the village, his son, cruel commandant Cao Shaolun arrives the village and kills the innocent and orphans, guardians of the village arrests him and plans to execute him after the trial.
